Tickets are on sale now for the 16th annual Sun Wine & Food Fest in January at the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Conn.

The three-day, world-class event from Jan. 25-27 fills the Uncas Ballroom and the new Earth Expo Center with a plethora of food and beverages for fest-goers.

Events include a bourbon tasting and cigar boutique, a grand tasting with more than 1,000 varieties of wine, beer and spirits and signature dishes from A-one restaurants, a Vintage Cru event, a celebrity chef dine-around and a Sunday brunch.

Package deals for paired events run from 150 to 325 bucks, and tickets for individual events are also available.

Hangar 12 at the Mansfield Airport on Fruit Street has undergone a major renovation. It’s open for breakfast and lunch. Think make-your-own omelet, chili and a Sunshine Burger with a fried egg and bacon.

Applebee’s is now offering new pasta dishes, including stuffed rigatoni, Cajun pasta with blackened chicken or shrimp, and creamy pasta with sliced prime rib.

The 5th annual Chefs for Clefts to benefit MassGeneral’s global surgical initiative is 5 to 8 Monday, Oct. 29, at The Tip Tap Room on Cambridge Street in the Hub. An 80-buck ticket gets you apps, an open bar and a chance to win a three-course meal at a hot Boston restaurant.
