The 2018 “Vine 2 Wine” fundraiser, hosted by Circle of Hope, brought residents from Santa Clarita together to enjoy a night of food, wine and charity as they raised money for local cancer patients. Don’t miss a thing. Get breaking KHTS Santa Clarita News Alerts delivered right to your inbox.

The fundraiser took place Saturday night at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia. The event featured a variety of beers, wines, foods and auction items available for those in attendance to enjoy.

“This is a big event,” said Taylor Kellstrom, president of Circle of Hope. “We’ve got over 50 vendors here, along with over 200 silent auction items.”

Along with the numerous items in the silent auction, five prize packages were auctioned off in a live auction hosted by Assemblyman Dante Acosta.

Kellstrom said that the Vine 2 Wine fundraiser is one of Circle of Hope’s biggest events, and this year’s ticket holders were treated to a wide array of fine wines, private library wines, beer and food offerings from Santa Clarita restaurants.

“There is something for everyone here,” said Janice Murray, board member for Circle of Hope. “All the money from (the) event goes towards our cancer patients, who live, work and get their treatment here in Santa Clarita.”
