The Eintracht Maennerchor is hosting its fourth annual beer and wine tasting March 9 at the Eintracht Singing Society, 108 Taylor St., New Castle.

The event benefits the Eintracht Männerchor, a men’s a capella choir, which is entering its 125th year of performing and promoting German and Saxon heritage. The event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and features entertainment by Rock Jazz and Friends.

Jonathan Baisch, president of the Eintracht Männerchor, said, “This beer tasting is an event to promote local craft beer and wine as well as the Eintracht Männerchor. As a choir, the Eintracht Männerchor has been singing for 125 years and events like this beer and wine tasting and our Schutzenfest help us to attract potential new singers, increase our visibility in the community, and raise funds for cultural activities.”
