Grande Ronde Symphony presents ”Magic, Mystery, and Majesty” 7:30 p.m. in McKenzie Theater in Loso Hall on the EOU campus. A pre-concert event will be held at Ten Depot Street Restaurant, 5:30 pm before the concert. Tickets $12 at the door for adults or $8 for seniors; $2 for college students, $1 students 8th-12th grade. Thursday, Nov. 17


The Wallowa Valley Orchestra and the Inland Northwest Musicians present their annual Young People’s Concert, 10 a.m. at the Wallowa School gymnasium. All ages and interests are invited to attend this free event.

Enterprise Education Foundation presents Turkey Bingo, sponsored by Community Bank with turkeys provided by The Dollar Stretcher, 5 p.m. at Enterprise Schools cafeteria. The evening features soup dinner, turkey calling contest for children, and turkey bingo. Famliy dinner and two bingo cards $15, $1 for each extra card. Bingo starts at 6 p.m.

VFW post 4307 post meeting, 6:30 pm. All members encouraged to attend.

Fishtrap Story Lab Presents “Giving Thanks,” a digital storytelling workshop, 9 a.m. to noon at the Fishtrap House, 400 E. Grant St. in Enterprise. Join Cameron Scott and special guests as you gather, explore and create iMovies documenting the things in life we are most thankful for. $10 suggested donation – kids 12 and under, free. 14 seats available. Project Heartbeat first aid/CPR/AED class in Enterprise. Learn to assist those suffering medical emergencies, both minor and major, until the ambulance arrives. Participants get two-year certification from the American Red Cross. Cost of the 7-hour class is $45. For more information, the location of the class or to register call 541-432-0259.

South Fork Grange Harvest Potluck Dinner, 6:30 p.m. at 317 Rosewell St. in Lostine. Bring a side dish and we provide the turkey and ham, etc.

The M. Crow Store in Lostine is hosting a “Busted-Butt Benefit” for John Wynans, who split his pelvis in a horse accident. Fishtrap celebrates two of its favorite Wallowa County writers, Cameron Scott and Eileen Thiel with author reading and book release party, 4 p.m. at 400 E. Grant St. in Enterprise. Both writers will read selections from their works, answer questions from the audience and have books available for purchase. Free admission. Light refreshments will be served.
