Wine news from Lake Walmart

A Tyler woman was arrested after police say she shoplifted numerous items from a local Walmart.

Police say Jennifer Nicole Jolly, 39, is accused of entering the Walmart at 5050 Troup Highway on November 8 and shoplifting a number of items.

According to the police report, the clothing items she is accused of shoplifting are $15 worth of jewelry, a $39.98 peacoat, $6.97 boot cuffs, a $7 vest and socks worth $5.50.

The police report also states that Jolley took $20.28 worth of wine, $2.24 worth of Godiva chocolate and $1.98 worth of blackberries

Jolley was arrested by Tyler Police Officer Cortez, and charged with failure to identify/giving false or fictitious information.  A $500 surety bond was set.

(Editors note: This story has been corrected to say the woman took $20.28 worth of wine. A previous story said she took $2,028 worth of wine based on the police report, which has also been corrected to say $20.28.)
